Small Animal Surgery

We can perform many of these treatments and procedures on-site and, when necessary, can make recommendations for referral to veterinary specialists in the area. Of course, our veterinarians will always discuss the alternative options to surgery such as possible medical management of your pet’s condition.
Veterinary Dentistry

Geriatric Pet Care

Vaccinations

The veterinarians at Palm Bay Animal Clinic follow the most recent vaccination guidelines from the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). For new puppies and kittens, vaccinations are performed every 3-4 weeks beginning at 6 weeks old for puppies and 8-9 weeks old for kittens.
Pet Wellness Examinations

Your pet's annual physical examination is the one of most important ways that we can keep pets living longer, happier, healthier lives. This is the time to address concerns that you may have about changes in your pet's behavior or any other difference you may have noticed.
Laboratory Testing

Pets, particularly senior ones, should have "wellness blood screening" checked at every annual examination, since changes on blood work are often detectable before the pet shows severe symptoms of disease.

Animal Pharmacy

On-site pet medications are available at Palm Bay Animal Clinic, for our pet owner’s convenience. This includes the medications we recommend for monthly heartworm and flea prevention.

Dog & Cat Microchipping

Sadly, millions of pets get lost each year, and without an ID, 90% don't return home. The veterinarians at Palm Bay Animal Clinic recommend having your pet microchipped to increase the chances that you and your pet will be reunited in the event that they are lost.
Puppy & Kitten Visits

Congratulations on your new puppy or kitten! Whether this is your first pet or another new addition to the family, puppies and kittens require a variety of things to get them started off right. Our veterinarians and staff will coach you through each step of the process from socialization and potty training to obedience and proper diet (and everything in between!).
Radiography (X-Rays)

Our doctors are trained to perform and evaluate radiographs, saving time in diagnosing and treating your pet. When needed, we can send our radiographs to a radiologist for review or refer our patients to the veterinary specialists for further studies.
Pocket Pets & Exotic Species

Palm Bay Animal Clinic is pleased to now offer veterinary care for “pocket pets” such as ferrets, rabbits, and rodents; including guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, chinchillas, rats, and mice. We also offer limited veterinary services for avian and reptile species.
Health Certificates (OCVI)

Florida law requires that any pet for sale in Florida or any pet traveling outside the state needs to have a health certificate, or (OCVI) Official Certificate of Veterinary Inspection. We have been accredited by the USDA after completion of the required training course and are licensed in the state of Florida to complete these official documents.
